Of the numerous battle-grounds we're confronted with – whether physical, psychological or political – each emerges with unique struggles. We can put down the heavy armour of the past, and FIND new ways to FIGHT for what we believe. Instead, we pick up our pens like swords.
HOW DOES PROTEST AND REBELLION INSPIRE YOU?
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE BATTLES OUR WORLD FACES?
Recent years, and 2020 especially, have TESTIFIED how and what we protest for: Black Lives Matter, Extinction Rebellion and #metoo, to name but a few. But "revolution is not a one-time event" (thank you Audre Lorde for this timeless wisdom), and regardless of what is happening in the wider world, as human beings, we continually renew and build up our identities as we battle our own demons.
Protest has never been easy, or unanimously agreed upon. At Public Menace we want your voice to contribute to an ongoing, global conversation, to keep them all the different faces of rebellion alive!
